Term and condition:

The following “Terms and Conditions" is set to govern the use of and purchase of products and services from EcoWay Travel website – www.ecowaytravel.com – (hereinafter referred to as Site, We, Us, Our). This is subject to change without notice to be suitable with local regulations and laws at the temporary time.

You agree to use the Site for lawful purposes. If you plan to or are committing any deeds that may hamper or affect the performance of the website, or transmit contents that are harmful, abusive, vulgar, discriminative, hateful, you must leave immediately.

Because our Terms & Conditions contain legal obligations, we encourage you to read them carefully. They form the basis on which bookings are accepted by EcoWay.

Unless otherwise stated, purchases made through EcoWay ‘s website are subject to these Terms & Conditions; in all booking arrangements, the person making the booking shall be deemed to have accepted these conditions on behalf of the persons named in the booking.

No variation to these Terms & Conditions shall be of any effect unless made in writing by and with the authority of EcoWay.

  1. PAYMENT INSTRUCTION
  2. Deposit
    To secure your reservation, we require the deposit of at least 25% total trip cost; can be processed as below:
    Payment via OnePay – www.onepay.vn
    We connect with OnePAY Payment Gateway to accept Online Card Payment (www.onepay.vn). All of your card information is processed through SSL protocol with international card security standard. Your card information will not be stored at our system (merchant) with international security standard. We will send you the link to fill out the form and you will make the online payment through steps.
    Please note that all credit transactions will be charged extra 3.0% service fee

Kindly notice that our prices are not inclusive of transfer fees levied by your bank and oversea bank – please ask your bank to transfer the sum prior deduction or any shortfall.
We reserve the right to release part or full booking if the deposit is not completed as deadline.

  1. The Balance, Drink Bills…
    Option 1: Card Payment
    We do accept card payment, including Credit, Debit, ATM, but we do not accept AMEX card. Please note that all card transactions will be charged extra 3% service fee
    Option 2: Cash
    Payment in Vietnam Dong (or AUD, EUR) is to be made equivalent to the amount in United States Dollars at the official exchange rate of the VietcomBank at the time of payment.
  2. DEPOSIT AND BALANCE PAYMENT
    A deposit of 30% – 50% of the total tour price is required upon a confirmation of your booking. Once a deposit is received it is understood that you have read, understood and accepted all our Terms and Conditions.
    Your balance can be paid at least 1 day prior to the departure date. So please kindly stop by our office at the 3rd Floor, 125 Hoang Ngan Building, Trung Hoa, Cau Giay, Hanoi to settle. We open every day from 8.00 – 12.00 & 1.30 – 5.00pm. We are happy to receive your full payment in cash (VND or USD). If you do not have time to visit our office in Hanoi, please inform our sales staffs so we can arrange your payment on tour, on departure date.

III. PAYMENT METHOD
We accept online payment by credit card with ONEPAY, a secured payment gateway for Master Card, Visa, and American Express. We will send you secured payment links once you accept this method.
You can also choose payment by Bank Transfer, Western Union. Please, kindly note that the payment fees are not inclusive in price.
You can choose to pay the remainder of your balance by cash or credit card at our office in Hanoi or on tour. For credit card payments, a 3% bank fee is added for each transaction.

  1. CANCELLATION POLICY
    1. Services are cancelled by the client:
    In case a tour is cancelled by the client for any reason, the following fees should be paid:
    More than 10 days in advance of our service: 0.%
    From 3 to 10 days in advance of our service: 50% of the total sum
    Within 3 days : 100% of total sum
    This fee scheme counts for all services booked at EcoWay Travel. Refunding the client is done by banking transfer; the party who cancels pays the banking fee.
  2. Services are cancelled by EcoWay Travel:
    EcoWay Travel will only cancel the contract if dramatic problems like natural disasters, epidemics, political problems, etc., may occur. In this case, clients will be refunded the total sum of booked services. Should there are any rising services during that time, clients will pay basing on the actual amount.
  3. CHILREN POLICY
    – One child under 4 years stays free of charge when using existing beds.
    – One child from 4 to 9 years is charged 75 % of the room stay per night and person when using existing beds.
    – One older child or adult is charged 40 % of the room stay per night and person in an extra bed.

Policy for Ninh Binh 1 day Tour:

Child from 10 and above charge as adult

Child from 5 to 9 charge 75% adult

Child under 5 free charge

2 adults only share with 1 child. The second child will be charged 75% adult

  1. ALTERNATIVES:

Whilst we manage to reserve all the proposed services for our clients, we reserves the right to make changes of equivalent services in case transportation/ accommodation is fully booked. In this case, we always try our best to inform you about the changes as soon as possible.

If we are unable to provide confirmed services, an alternative service or an alternative departure date will be offered subject to availability. If this alternative date or the alternative service is not acceptable to our clients will be refunded.

VII. DISCLAIMERS:

From time to time there may be information on our site that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions about product descriptions, pricing, and availability. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions and to change or update information at any time without prior notice.

We do not assume any liability whatsoever for any injury, damage, death, loss, accident or delay due to any act by any carrier, hotel, restaurant, company or person rendering any of the services included in the tour.
We will not take any responsibility for any injury, damage, death, loss, accident or delay caused by threat of wars, civil strife, industrial disputes, natural disasters or terrorism.

We will take no responsibility for any omission, delay, re-touring, additional expenses, or other resulting from improper health, necessary documents to enter or depart a country, or acts by any government authority.
We reserve the right to decline your booking if we have caused to believe that you might pose a threat to public safety and/or security in Vietnam.

VIII. SHUTTLE BUS SERVICE:

Unless otherwise stated, all shuttle bus service are operated by our company. The pick up point is limitted to hotels in the center only with few exceptions made by the us. If you are leaving from the airport or train station or staying in a hotel outside of center, you are responsible for arranging your own transfer to the pick up points to be picked up by shuttle bus.

  1. REFUND
    All cancellations must be received in writing, sent to us via email. Before a determination regarding a refund can be made, all the tour and services’ documents must be returned to EcoWay Travel. All refund requests pertaining to cruise and other service are subject to final review by EcoWay Travel.
    In case of tour cancellation by bad weather, refund will be made fully or partly based on service that has been delivered to customers before cancellation.
    Please note that, refund does not including service fee for payment by credit card or online payment.
    No refunds will be made for unused services or no-shows. It is up to 15 days for any refund to appear in your bank account statement.
  2. INSURANCE
    Insurance on board is purchased for passengers due to the requirement of Vietnamese law in some cases, and it covers only the basic accidents so we strongly recommend you purchase your own insurance before departing for Vietnam and before joining the tour with us.
  3. TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
    Service Voucher will be compiled after the deposit has been received and sent to guests prior to departure. These documents will be sent via email, and should be printed out by participants and retained as a receipt.
    It is the guest’s obligation to obtain a valid passport, visas and public health documents, travel insurance for your travelling time in Vietnam.

Visa to Vietnam:

Please note that visa is not normally included in our tour program, if you request a visa on arrival, please contact our travel consultant before your arrival.

XII. COMPLAINTS:

During your tour, should any problems arise, please inform your tour guide or tour operator as soon as possible so that we can solve the problem for you.
If the problem could not be resolved on your tour, please call our Operation Manager as soon as possible at 09-12 219 633, or direct email at operator@ecowaytravel.com  and give us some time to rectify the situation.

XIII. RESPONSIBILITY
Once we confirm the reservation with you, all possible care is taken to ensure that the services supplied maintain the highest possible standards and follow what we describe in the itinerary. However, we are not responsible for any problems arising from the booking or services that we do not directly control.
Please pay attention to your valued properties. We have no responsibility for the loss or damage of luggage due to the delay, accident, natural disaster or political actions, except for the properties kept in our security boxes at our reception desk on board.
We have no responsibility for any mental or physical injury, illness, loss or death when such damages were neither the result of a physical injury to the Passenger, nor the result of that passenger having been not at actual risk of physical injury, nor intentionally inflicted by us.
If there is a dispute among a passengers – EcoWay Travel/or a third party, Vietnamese law will be applied.
